Government Agencies
Delivering environmental monitoring services to government agencies across multiple jurisdictions
C&R provide specialist environmental monitoring services for the Queensland Department of Resources, supporting effective management of legacy mine sites across the state. This includes surface water and groundwater monitoring at historically significant and environmentally complex locations such as Mary Kathleen and Mount Oxide.
Monitoring activities are carried out in remote and challenging environments, with comprehensive safety systems in place. These include detailed risk assessments, remote communication protocols, and site-specific safety procedures to ensure personnel safety.
Landholder engagement is a key component of service delivery, with strong stakeholder relationships maintained through clear communication and the issuance of washdown and weed declaration certificates to address biosecurity risks.
All monitoring programs are designed and implemented in line with Australian standards, ensuring accurate data collection and regulatory compliance. These services support the Department’s objectives in assessing and managing environmental risks associated with legacy mine sites.
